Hi!
I'm so excited to welcome you to this weeks newsletter.
It's truly been a tought last month but I am so looking forward to March - and we are already 5 days in!
There is so much going on in the world that is truly heartbreaking, and because of this, it is so so important to take time to take care of our wellness: our minds - thoughts and emotions, our bodies etc.
When we create peace within then that has a butterfly effect into teh world. This is really not some woowoo belief. When you begin to slow your mind down and just see how we affect one another based on those small actions and non actions we take. At times, when we are in a spiral we can cause chaos - but what if this time we decide to just hold on - feel the discomfrot - take a few breaths in and out - reminding ourselves that we have chosen this Peace in this moment.
Often when we don't let out our anger in the moment, we are left with such an awful feeling inside - but its usually temporary. But when it isn't and it stays with you, well then Yoga comes in.
Yoga offers us a beautiful way to release a lot of pent up feelings.
I definitely am not saying just absorb things and never express yourself. However, when we - and I am guilt of this too - react in the moment - we end up affecting so many people around us - whether as a domino effect of the person on whom we direct our anger, or collaterally in terms of who is in the vicinity when we do so.
Yoga helps us to calm down, process that intense energy and then release it. We can then see clearly, and respond to the situation from our true power of awareness and strength.
In the larger context of things, we each play a part in affecting the Collective Consciousness. And though things do seem so awful, I believe it is a time of uncovering - where illusions and that which was hidden is coming out into the light - I believe we are purging as a human race, and as the world in general.
When we choose peace we add to the light - and this can be a simple few breaths before responding. It can be a yoga session when you get home before sitting down with your family. An early morning meditation.
I hoep you know how significant you are in this world today, and that you realise how much power you have to help support the world inside of you and around you.
